British Columbia is beautiful and offers many outdoor activities such as whale watching, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, fishing and golfing. We can recommend tour routes, parks, coast or lake beaches. There are more tourist attractions than you can hope to visit, including museums, heritage sites, tours, shopping and restaurants. Do allow sufficient time to visit these and to relax. We can guide you with B.C. maps and information when you stay at The Gazebo. Since our bed and breakfast is located centrally you can travel to everywhere on the following lists within an hour or so.
Ten good reasons to spend several days in Victoria:
- The magnificent Butchart Gardens (close to the B&B).
- Strolling around the downtown Inner Harbour and shops.
- A drive along the rugged West coast of Vancouver Island.
- Visit Craigdarroch Castle, a Victorian mansion.
- Relax on lovely beaches, parks or trails.
- Spend some hours at the excellent Royal B.C. Museum.
- Whale watching.
- Tour the East coast to Chemainus and Saltspring Island.
- Take in a Victoria afternoon tea.
- Golf or kayaking.
