Outdoor activities include whale watching, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, fishing and golfing. We can recommend tour routes, parks, coast or lake beaches. There are many tourist attractions: museums, heritage sites, tours, shopping and restaurants. Do allow sufficient time to visit these and to relax. We can guide you with B.C. maps and information when you stay at The Gazebo. Since our bed and breakfast is located centrally you can travel easily to everywhere on the following list.

Why visit Victoria for several days

  • Spend most of a day at the magnificent Butchart Gardens.
  • Stroll around the downtown Inner Harbour and shops.
  • Drive along the rugged West coast of Vancouver Island.
  • Play golf (15 courses!).
  • Have an envigorating massage in your room or in our Spa Cottage.
  • Visit Craigdarroch Castle, a Victorian mansion.
  • Tour local wineries and sample their wines.
  • Relax on lovely beaches and parks.
  • Spend some hours at the excellent Royal B.C. Museum.
  • Whale watching.
  • Have a horse-drawn carriage tour.
  • Tour the East coast to Chemainus and Saltspring Island.
  • Hike along trails and through parks, on hills or by the ocean.
