Whale-watching is such a memorable experience. We always enjoy meeting up with our guests after they have seen the whales; their faces light up joyfully. The wonderful climate of the Victoria area, combined with a pastoral landscape and so much island coastline naturally results in a wide variety of wonderful food and drink. Victoria restaurants specialise in local produce from land and sea and we have menus of many of these here at the B&B for you to view. Saanich Peninsula wineries welcome tastings of their own wines of which they are rightly proud. British Columbia has many breweries including a dozen here. And let's not forget traditional afternoon tea.
The last of our videos from Tourism Vancouver Island, British Columbia features native culture. The best places to experience this are at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria and at the Quw'utsun' Cultural Centre 45 minutes away.
