Victoria Tourism BC Guide - from a Victoria inn

Victoria tourism BC - this is a summary of the many attractions and activities enjoyed by guests at our Victoria inn. There's much more to do than just visiting the Butchart Gardens!

There are more Victoria tourism attractions than you can hope to visit in a few days - including museums, heritage sites, tours, shopping and restaurants. Then, add the many outdoor activities such as whale watching, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, fishing and golfing. We can recommend tour routes, parks and beaches.

Do allow sufficient time to visit these and to relax. We can guide you with BC maps and information when you stay here. Since our bed and breakfast is located centrally you can travel easily to everywhere on the following list of principal attractions and activities.

Your visit to Victoria BC

Many good reasons to visit Victoria BC for several days:

  • Spend most of a day at the magnificent Butchart Gardens (perhaps returning the day next for just $3.50)
  • Stroll around the downtown Inner Harbour and shops.
  • Drive along the rugged West coast of Vancouver Island via Fisgard Lighthouse and perhaps a zip-line adventure tour.
  • Play golf (15 courses!).
  • Have an invigorating massage in your room or in our Spa Cottage.
  • Visit Craigdarroch Castle, a Victorian mansion.
  • Tour local wineries and sample their wines.
  • Relax on lovely beaches and parks.
  • Spend some hours at the excellent Royal B.C. Museum.
  • Whale watching.
  • Have a horse-drawn carriage tour.
  • Tour the East coast to Chemainus and Saltspring Island.
  • Relax in our gardens with a book or glass of wine
  • Hike along trails and through parks, on hills or by the ocean.
  • Savour a Victoria afternoon tea.
  • Go kayaking or fishing, horseback riding or biking.
  • Relax in our infra-red sauna.
  • Shop in Antique Row, Chinatown or on Government Street.
  • An evening of star-gazing at The Centre of the Universe.

We have compiled two other handy pages - one a more comprehensive itinerary guide listing dozens of attractions and activities, and the Victoria itineraries in pictorial form for a five day visit.
