Floral Close-upsHere are some floral close-ups in the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast gardens (near the Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC). We hope they convey something of the pleasures awaiting you when you stay here regardless of the time of year.
Most can also be seen at the nearby Butchart Gardens. Flowers are there on 50 acres - we have just one acre, though all these photos are from our gardens. They have 50+ gardeners, we have just ourselves. Also nearby are Glendale Gardens.
Victoria BC gardens benefit from a wonderful gardening climate, year-round - see the Seasons gardens in Victoria section to get some ideas about what to expect at the time of your visit.
Whenever we are in the gardens and spot eye-catching floral close-ups it is so easy to get the camera; an enjoyable hobby. If you take any pleasing floral photos during your visit to Victoria we'd love to see them.
Plan to stay a few days to visit the Butchart Gardens, Glendale Gardens, Abhkhazi Gardens and Hatley Castle - see our Victoria Gardens page for details on Vancouver Island gardens open to the public. Occasionally an unexpected close-up catches the eye - it was a full twelve years before I saw the middle image below yet the rock has always been there: Rock Face (what else?) just needed to be seen at the right angle in the right sunlight.
Here are more of our B & B gardens photo pages to view We always appreciate receiving photos from our guests. Greg and Gwen Gibbons took these stunning images in June 2011:-
