Vancouver Island gardens
Enjoy these Vancouver Island gardens here with their glorious summer flowers. This is a sampling of what to expect when you stay in the summer at our Victoria bed and breakfast near the Butchart Gardens.

The collages above are from our free screensaver. The pair below, favourites of ours, were taken looking to the front and to the back of the gardens from under a wisteria-covered arbour in 2009. You can see the Garden Cottage in the rear.
Near the arbour is a colourful English cottage garden (below left). The display of sweetpeas is on the large terrace, a popular place to relax in the afternoon sun. To the right are irises on the edge of the front pond adjacent to the oriental garden.
Vancouver Island gardens enjoy a wonderful growing climate. Below are hostas in a woodland setting. In the centre you see our kitchen entrance with a potted herb garden for breakfast treats. Then a slpash of colour near the front entrance.
Victoria summer flowers are the delight of many a retiree here. We enjoy the great variety which thrives. All these images are taken within our acre, not too far from the Butchart Gardens and Glendale Gardens.
