The Butchart Gardens Photograph Gallery
The Butchart Gardens are a joy to visit at any time of year. Photo opportunities abound at this wonderful Victoria attraction. This photograph gallery contains photos taken by ourselves, by our Victoria bed and breakfast guests and also supplied by courtesy of The Butchart Gardens Ltd, Victoria, BC, Canada.
The famous Sunken Garden resulted from the vision of Jennie Butchart, transforming an old limestine quarry. The entry to it is breathtaking.
An impressive variety of summer concerts can be enjoyed at no extra charge on Saturday nights before the fireworks begin. On the right is an impressionistic lake scene from the old quarry.

Many people's favourite has to be the Japanese Garden. Take your time to follow its rambling paths. Its summer lighting is sooo romantic! See all these night photographs of the Butchart Gardens illuminations.
Enjoy elegant afternoon tea in the dining room or wander through displays (when open) in "Benvenuto", the Butchart's family home, amongst their memorabilia.
